To create a basic works-cited-list entry for a song, list the creator of the song, the title of the song, and the name of the album containing the song. In the Publisher element, list the name of the record company, followed by the release date. You may need to include other elements depending on how you accessed the song. For example, if you accessed the song on a website, you’ll need to list the name of the website instead of the name of the album and provide a URL as the location.
