How should a website with no author or clear organization authorship be cited in an in-text citation?

Note: This post relates to content in the eighth edition of the MLA Handbook. For up-to-date guidance, see the ninth edition of the MLA Handbook.

If a website has no author or it is unclear what organization produced it, use the title of the site in your in-text citation. You might, however, think twice about using a source when you do not know who is responsible for its content.
