Cite a playlist by following the MLA template of core elements. In the Title of Container element, include the name of the playlist surrounded in quotation marks. Then include the name of the website that hosts the playlist, such as Spotify or YouTube, in the Title of Container element. Next, list the creator of the playlist, whether an individual or a group, in the Contributor element. If the date the playlist was created or updated is available, include it in the Publication Date element. Finally, list the URL you used to access the playlist in the Location element.
